Ian Brookie is a consummate professional with 15 years of experience and proven performance across a broad range of legal practice areas.

Ian has recently represented defendants in high profile cases such as the Grace Millane murder and the largest methamphetamine import in New Zealand (Operation Frontia).

Ruby van Boheemen
Ruby joined Ian Brookie’s team following completion of her studies at the University of Otago and Cardiff University. Ruby is well read in the law and keeps up to date with developments. She assists Ian in conducting research and preparing submissions in a wide range of matters in the District Court, the High Court and the Court of Appeal. Ruby is often a point of contact for clients and prides herself on ensuring that clients understand the legal process. She regularly appears for clients in the District Court.
